The Royal Society Te Apārangi
A two-day hui will take place on 28th & 29th November 2022, at the Royal Society Te Apārangi, Wellington, to bring together different key individuals and stakeholders to plan this research.
Aims of Hui:
- To identify the important issues for consideration in this project about donor identity
- To briefly summarise international literature about disclosure and outcomes following disclosure
- To hear from people about their experience of donor conception
- To identify, and prioritise, the project’s research questions
- To discuss what research methodology will best answer the research questions
- To establish a timeline of research, and research responsibilities
- To clarify the roles of the research team and the involvement of wider community of people affected by donor conception
